Aikido of AlaskaAikido of Alaska (Alaska Aikikai) is a traditional dojo in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. We are affiliated with World Aikido Headquarters in Japan through membership in the Aikido World Alliance (AWA) located in Chicago, Illinois. The AWA is one of six officially recognized Aikido organizations directly affiliated under Hombu dojo Japan here in the United States.
Our mission is to provide quality, traditional Aikido Aikikai instruction, and to spread Aikido’s principles of harmony, self-improvement and non-violent conflict resolution to the general public. Beginners and visitors are always welcome at Aikido of Alaska. Please come by any time during our regularly scheduled classes to observe a class and ask questions.
